Manage daily communication with mechanical suppliers, ensuring timely confirmation of orders, monitoring manufacturing progress, and verifying delivery confirmations.
Review and validate supplier quotations, ensuring technical compliance and alignment with 2D/3D design documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering regarding design modifications or technical deviations, updating instructions and supplier documentation accordingly.
Oversee first article inspections (FAI), ensuring dimensional, surface, and material conformity before series deliveries.
Support incoming quality control processes, addressing non-conformities, and leading supplier corrective actions to ensure quality continuity.
Maintain all supplier and order data in the SAP R3 (MM) module, ensuring complete traceability of manufacturing purchase orders and efficient information management.
Collaborate closely with the Finance department for invoice validation, cost recording, and payment tracking, ensuring deadlines are met.
Monitor and report project purchasing milestones, proactively highlighting potential risks, delays, or cost deviations.
Candidate Profile Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical background.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical procurement or industrial sourcing within automation, machinery, or automotive industries.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, welding, surface finishing, assembly).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (2D/3D) and technical documentation with a high level of detail.
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP R3/MM-PUR) and analysis tools like Excel and Power BI.
Fluent English (C1 or above), both written and spoken.
Availability to visit suppliers and manufacturing facilities, both nationally and internationally.
Preferred:
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier quality systems (PPAP, NCR, corrective actions).
Experience in international sourcing (Europe, Mexico, Asia).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
What do we offer?
Immediate integration into a dynamic and international team where every member plays a crucial role.
Participation in cutting-edge projects that are redefining the future of robotics and automation.
